The Ridge Community is rich with history, from the gold rush to bountiful harvest of apples. We have wonderful weather with all four season. We burst with color in spring and fall. For those who enjoy fishing or water sports, we have lakes, rivers, streams and ponds, all minutes away. We have a variety of festivals throughout the year, Chocolate Fest, Gold Nugget Days and Johnnie Appleseed Days to name a few.
Paradise is in the foothills of Northern California, approx 90 miles north of Sacramento, 10 miles east of Chico. We are approximately 3 1/2 hours south of the Oregon boarder.
This hidden jewel may have the serenity and peace of a mountain town but don’t worry, we do have grocery stores and shopping and Chico (population approx 85,000) is only 15-30 minutes away, depending on where you live.
Come for for a visit, raise your family, or retire here, like many of our residents do.
